Hello and welcome to "A Start Up Guide to Independent Consulting", a course purpose built to support your career transition from traditional consulting firm to a viable independent consulting career.
The management consulting industry is a $1 trillion eco-system that continues to evolve with new models and segments. One rapidly growing segment is the independent (aka freelance) management consulting segment. This segment is comprised of professionals (many of whom have trained in top consultancies) who have made the decision to launch out on their own in search of more flexibility and higher incomes.
Transitioning to self-employment can be daunting and intimidating; surprisingly, few resources exist to guide professionals through this journey. Moreover, resources that focus specifically on management consulting are virtually nonexistent…until now!
